Free skills assessment with TRA
Trades Recognition Australia are now offering migrants with experience in eligible occupations with a free, fast-tracked skills assessment to have their skills recognised in Australia.
Australian businesses are looking for workers to fill workforce shortages. Having your skills recognised will improve your chance of getting a job in your field, and provide employers with confidence that you have the skills needed to do the job.
Who can access a free assessment?
To be able to apply for a free assessment you must:
- have not had a skills assessment in an eligible occupation.
- be living in Australia when you submit your application
- be on a relevant family, partner, humanitarian or refugee visa (see table below) that was granted on or after 1 January 2016.
